Greg asked me to share this story because it highlights my growth as a DIYer.

Monday night we kegged our Citra Pale Ale (named the Accountant) and put it in the kegerator for carbonating.

When we built the kegerator, we knew two corny kegs could fit in but the door wouldn’t close for Greg Monday night. He spent twenty minutes moving tubes and readjusting– not to mention getting all Nancy Drew with the flashlight to figure out what was preventing the door from closing.

Seeing him get all frustrated I walked over and started looking. As I watched the door closed I noticed the inner plastic on the door (from where the door racks and stuff were) was hitting the keg. We needed to cut it off, so I offered to get something.

I got a handsaw and not a kitchen utensil.

Greg was so proud.
