Five on Friday: March Madness

Yesterday kicked off the greatest event in all of sports—the NCAA tournament.  Around the country work ceased to happen upon the first tip off.  Upsets happened and brackets went bust.

Ok, fine.  Maybe only my bracket went bust (darn you 11/16 correct picks).

Watching the tourney requires diligence, perseverance, and school pride.  You are expected to watch all games and follow your bracket.  The biggest challenge comes with how far should you take your school.  Typically Greg take Villanova to the final round, they were lucky I took them to the Sweet 16.

With this upcoming weekend full of first and second round games, you might need some food to munch on while watching hours upon hours of basketball.  Invite a few friends over for beer and food while the games are on.  It’s always more fun to commiserate with others who are doing worse than you in their bracket.

Today’s Five on Friday is a few recipes to make for this weekend’s game watching.  May the odds ever be in your favor in regards to your bracket.  Have a great weekend!
